Superstar is a basketball shoe manufactured by athletic goods company Adidas since 1969.When the shoe was introduced, it was the first low-top basketball shoe to feature an all-leather upper and the now famous rubber shell toe. Three quarters of all NBA players were wearing the shell toe shoes by the mid 70's and the Adidas Superstar continues to be popular with them
